I think this would be an excellent thing to do. You have to admire a young woman with the courage to set out on a 25 day solo hike across Iceland. It’s also nice to see there’s a country safe enough that a young woman still has the freedom to experience such amazing things on her own without having to worry about homicidal maniacs around every corner. She put together a really wonderful mini documentary of those 25 days called “Made in Iceland“, it’s well worth a watch.

Follow Klara Harden as she treks across Iceland on her own. At times she’s barefoot, and at times she’s likely lonely, but everywhere she goes, there’s the majesty of Iceland to keep her company.
